ゼイナダンサーズ
私達『ゼイナー・ダンサーズ』は１９９９年の夏に結成以来、 互いが東洋舞踊（オリエンタル）のダンサーとして、幅広い知識の習得、及び指導者としての技術向上に、前向きに取り組んで参りました。
そしてこのチーム結成を機会に私達は、特にエジプトの「ラクス・シャルキー」（アラビア語で「東洋の踊り」の意味を持つ）に取り組んで参りました。以降、毎年定期的に本場エジプトに出向き、高名な指導者たちの元で、よりレベルの高い技術／知識の習得に励んでおります。そして本場で学び得た知識／技術を、日本や米国に持ち帰り、自ら主催
するレッスンクラス、ワークショップ及びダンスショーで披露しております。特に本場のダンス、振り付けを指導する特別プログラムの開発に力を注いでおります。
私達はこのダンスがいかに優雅で、且つ洗練された完成度の高いものであるかを、一般に広く伝承していく事に、並々ならぬ熱意と情熱を持っております。そして私達の使命、私達自らがダンスを通じて感じる事の出来る幸福感を、このダンスを皆様と共に共有する事でもあります。
Zeina Dancers: Amani and Amira
Zeina Dancers is a belly dance duo based in Osaka,
Japan and is currently performing in Japan and the U.S. We came together the
summer of 1999 and discovered that we shared a sincere interest in expanding
our knowledge and developing our skills as dancers and performers of Oriental
dance. We took this opportunity to combine our energies and began to concentrate
on Egyptian Oriental dance, called "Raks Sharqi" in Arabic which means "dance
of the East" or "dance of the Orient." Every year we set off
to Egypt to further our studies and have had the honor of studying with many
well-known teachers of Egyptian dance. Upon returning to Japan and the U.S.
we then share what we have learned and experienced in these countries in our
classes, workshops and shows. We endeavor to create special programs featuring
authentic dances and choreographies. We have a deep enthusiasm and passion for
this dance and strive to elevate its presentation so that it is seen as the sophisticated
and elegant art form that it is. Our goal is to share this dance and the feelings
of joy and happiness that we feel when we dance. |
